Hey Quinn, I wrote down some thoughts of the weekend and wanted to share them with you, I hope you don’t mind. I went into this weekend prepared to absorb all the knowledge I could to help grow my career. However, I must say I was truly blown away. There was so much talent and skill in that one room, it was amazing to see and be a part of! When I heard of this event, it was obvious we had a leader who was dedicated to helping us improve and grow. What I didn’t expect to see was that every person in that room was dedicated not only to their own growth, but the growth of others. This was a family environment while I was expecting a company environment, and I feel excited to be a part of this. Thank you for all you did to create this! I took away knowledge from every person on this team and at this event. I really could not think of any questions at the time, as this whole experience has been a firehose of information thus far. Yet, I was excited to hear the questions being asked and the answers given. As that means I have that knowledge now before I need it instead of after I needed it. I took away ALOT from this as a new member of Safe Step and I would like to share some of that with you. I love reading and listening to audiobooks, I received 14 audiobook/YouTube suggestions to improve my growth. I received several good ideas for ways to improve my presentation, and that it is Ok to find the best way for me instead of just one set way to do things. The installation side of it was definitely beneficial to see their side and the things they need on the job before I make those mistakes hopefully. A big take away was empathy is invaluable in the home with our clients. I learned all kinds of ways to use my tools to help me along the way. Most of all I learned being on this team with such truly amazing and talented people is also an invaluable tool and I am grateful to be a part of it. Thank you for all that you did to put this event together and I’m looking forward to the next one!!
